By: A Woodworker Who Got Tired of Searching for His Chisel

A French cleat wall is the ultimate workshop upgrade. This modular storage system lets you hang, rearrange, and customize tool holders using a simple bevel cleat on plywood.

  • Screw a matching cleat on the back of each holder.

Pro Tip: Use a coat of shellac or polyurethane to make the cleats resistant to shop grime.
